Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of [7] years of experience in export management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing export strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).

  • Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and implementing an effective export strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying potential export markets, and developing targeted marketing and sales plans.
  • Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations and local laws in each target market.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade policies, tariffs, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for export processes, including licenses, permits, and certificates of origin
  • Continuously researching and analyzing international markets to identify new opportunities, understand customer preferences, and monitor competitor activities. This information is then used to guide the company’s export expansion and decision-making.
  • Overseeing the operational aspects of the export process, such as order processing, inventory management, logistics, and transportation. This includes coordinating with various departments
  • Managing the customs clearance process, which involves preparing and submitting the required export documentation, such as invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, to facilitate the timely and efficient movement of goods across borders.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with export activities, such as currency fluctuations, political instability, and payment defaults. This may involve implementing appropriate risk management strategies, such as securing trade finance or purchasing export credit insurance.
