IT Applications Administrator 2/10/2021

Job Type: Full Time | Experience needed: 3-4 Years of experience | Career level: Experienced (Non-manager) | Vacancies: 1 open position

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related discipline preferred
  • 3 years MS Dynamics GP system architecture and design, and in-depth knowledge of SQL table structures
  • Strong working knowledge of Dynamics GP core financial modules
  • Microsoft SQL Server Database administration, maintenance, upgrades, backup and recovery experience
  • SQL queries and stored procedures experience
  • Understanding of General Ledger, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, Inventory, Project Accounting, Manufacturing & Bill of Materials, and WorkFlows
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, Management Reporter, ReportWriter, SmartList Builder, SmartConnect, Integration Manager, and Modifier with VBA
  • Previous experience with one successful upgrades of moving Dynamics GP to a newer version
  • Microsoft GP certification is preferred

  • Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and make recommendations for optimizing current environment and configurations as well as business processes
  • Administer hot fixes, services packs, version upgrades, etc.
  • Own/Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of queries, dashboards and reports, Customization & Integration tools, Modified Forms & reports, Extender, SSRS, and Smart List Builder
  • Optimize, implement, document and train colleagues on standard operating procedures for GP administration activities
  • Assist Finance & Accounting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Troubleshooting GP user issues, provide help-desk end-user support for GP and other Microsoft Dynamics GP connected applications as needed
  • Work with database administrators to develop and maintain GP database, backup & recovery, and Business Continuity procedures
  • Support all aspects of software or hardware related to GP including routine maintenance, installs, updates, patches, customizations, integrations, etc. including 3rd party applications
  • Identify opportunities to leverage GP capabilities in support of business goals and objectives.
